Our Story

Founded in passion. Built on tradition.
Sixteen World Cups.
In 1962, my grandfather, Don Tavo, accepted an invitation to the World Cup in Santiago, Chile. What was supposed to be one trip became 16 World Cups and a tradition shared amongst our family.
My story begins in 2006. I was fifteen, staying at a small hotel in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, tagging along to my first World Cup. Four tournaments followed—South Africa, Brazil, Russia, Qatar. Somewhere between the roar of stadiums and the quiet moments planning routes to catch multiple matches in a single day, I fell in love. Not just with football, but with everything the tournament represents: national pride, local experiences, the connections made in unfamiliar cities.
Común exists because of those stories. We’re making vintage-inspired pieces designed to travel from stadium to stadium, from tournament to tournament, and from generation to generation.
Welcome to the Común family. We hope this beautiful game brings you lasting memories.
